The Beginning of the Next Chapter

Here I go again.  Sitting at the gate at Sky Harbor airport waiting for my flight to depart  to NYC.  I am really excited for this adventure and really hungry to bring home a medal.  After a few days in NYC training with the team, we are off to Sao Paolo, Brazil to compete at the 12th Pan Am Maccabi games.  I'm in the 45+ Masters division but don't be fooled by our age.  The competition is fierce and the level of play is top notch.  I've trained really hard to prepare myself and am ready to battle with my teammates proudly wearing the RED, WHITE and BLUE of the USA.  Having become an American citizen just six months ago, wearing my new country's colors is even more special this time round.
