Today the USA Masters 45's soccer team had a shining moment. We came out strong at the beginning of the game and in the 10th minute, #7, Wiz served up a perfect square ball pass into the middle. I came from the left midfield and one timed a volley shot into the bottom right corner for the opening goal of the match. After that, the floodgates opened and Marc Lebowitz tallied two sensational goals by the end of the half to give USA a 3-0 lead. We held strong in the second half to preserve a clean sheet for Dave Bannick. Coach Alan made all the right decisions today as his line-up adjustments and effective substitutions payed off. It was a huge team effort and everybody showed that we are a team to be reckoned with. Tomorrow we play Brazil.
