Day 4 - Game Day

More security just hanging around keeping an eye on things.

Military guard watching over the buses and athletes making their way into the sports complex.

Walking past the tennis courts and the country flags on the way to the soccer fields. There's Canada's flag.

The entrance to the Hacoaj complex and the banner welcoming the athletes and delegations from at least 20 countries.

Club Nautico Hacoaj is the name of the sports complex that most of the competitions are being held at.

On our bus ride, we passed a stadium that we only wished we could play in. This is the Argentine professional soccer team "Riverplate's" stadium. It probably has 60,000 seats and is a madhouse when it is game-on.

My friend from Phoenix, Rick Sheinson, a coach for the USA Jr. Basketball team. We also play in the same men's hoops league at the JCC in Scottsdale.

Breakfast as a team before our 7am bus ride to the sports complex.
