Day 4 - USA vs England in Game 1

The 12th man for Argentina..their fans. They love to shout "Gooo00000oooooallllllll". Hopefully, we won't be hearing that on Friday.

Our next competition - Argentina on Friday and Brazil on Sunday.

Dave Bannick and I after the game. Drained and dejected.

Defending a dangerous free kick by the Brits. This one struck the crossbar.

Trying to scissors the ball back over the keeper who was off his line. 5 got me under the leg.

Action in front of their goal.

Taking on 5 again.
5 was dogging me all game.

I beat him this time to the outside and crossed in.
Window of opportunity.

Going after their defender, number 5. He was a bruiser.

Bannick clearing one of several dangerious corners and services into the penalty area. They played typical English football.

Celebrating our first goal by Laz. We were up 1-0 early in the game.

The ceremonial march, line-up and hand-shakes before the game. I'm between 15 and 4.

Warming up prior to the game trying to stay cool in the shade.

Our team bench.

Arriving at the field on a beautiful morning in Argentina. What a thrill that this moment has finally arrived.
