This was a fun day for me. I took care of my shopping. For those who know me, it can be quite impressive watching me shop when I am in the mood. Well, today I was in some mood. I bought enough Argentina soccer shirts for y'all back home to almost dress a team not to mention that I really did some damage in the leather shops - jackets, shoes, boots, a belt. Picked up some delicious local wine and Havanna chocolate cookies, a favorite here. Chilled at the hotel for a while and then out for a late team dinner and midnight celebration at a local restaurant. Back to the hotel for a relatively early night. I missed my usual New Year celebration at home with my loved ones watching the fireworks at the Orange Tree resort. Promise you next year we'll be together. Tomorrow's game is against Colombia in the consolation round.

Shaun, Greg, Simon and Adrian at the other table.

Me, Stu, Dave, Doug, Steve and Scott having some Quilmes and figuring out our order. Thanks Steve Alper for sharing your pictures.

This was one of the few restaurants that was open but it was very busy.

Coach Stu trying to get us in.

Predinner drinks in the lobby bar of a hotel near the restaurant. Me, Adrian and Don having a deep discussion after some very slow service. As you can see, the vacation goatee has grown in.
