Day 8 - Game Two - USA vs. England

ENGLAND 3 - USA 0 Today we played an even better game than we did in our first game. The game was played mostly between the 18's and was a physical defensive battle. Each team created only a few scoring opportunities. The unfortunate part was that England converted all three of its chances as their #12 scored all three goals. We were unable to convert ours. It's a game of inches and thats how the ball sometimes rolls. Argentina on Friday and Brazil on Sunday.

Dave P. sustained an injury in this game. I did a consult after the game and would have treated him had I been equiped. He bit through his tongue and required a stitch that was done at a local hospital.

#13 for GB, Danny, hurt us a few times in the game by setting up #12 for 2 of his goals.

The pregame lineup. BK getting psyched for the match.

Parading out to the field. What a thrill to be playing against GB, my birth country.

The procession onto the field.
After the warm-up, we headed over to the side of the pitch to prepare for the pregame procession and exchange of banners.
Our first look at the England team preparing to do battle with us.
